Description Miocene mafic volcanic units display nature of explosive and eruptive processes and mantle-derived materials with abundant xenocrysts and ultramafic xenoliths.  Quarry outcrops display mafics ranging from hawaiites, olivine nephelenites, leucite basanites to nepheline benmoreites.  Excellent and sometimes complex exposures.
Highlights Scenery of the Great Dividing Range, the Garden City of Toowoomba and volcanic centres.
